Change your iPhone wallpaper automatically every day
iOS can set your wallpaper from any image link on a schedule. You need one personal automation with two actions. Here is exactly how, including the two settings most guides forget that stop iOS from cropping the image or asking you to confirm.
Step by step
How to set it up
Open the Shortcuts app and go to the Automation tab.
Tap + (New Automation), choose Time of Day, set 6:00 AM, Repeat “Daily”, and select “Run Immediately”.
Tap Next, then “Create New Shortcut” (called “New Blank Automation” on older iOS).
Add “Get Contents of URL” and paste your wallpaper link.
Add “Set Wallpaper Photo”, set it to Lock Screen, tap the arrow and turn off “Crop to Subject” and “Show Preview”.
Tap Done, open the automation and tap ▶ to test it.
